Along the way, we’ve stayed true to our values and focused on creating work that truly matters. What began as a simple passion has grown into something meaningful and impactful. Who we are
Story Impact Collective is a creative nonprofit dedicated to storytelling across culture, society, humanity, and the natural world. Our work centers on shaping stories with care—through close collaboration, clarity of intention, and respect for the people and contexts they engage. We bring together photographers, filmmakers, journalists, academics, students and ctivists from around the globe to create documentaries, photo exhibitions, publications and educational workshops that document and shape powerful narratives and empower people to act. Our impact storytelling and educational programming aim to engage the broader public in important conversations through first hand testimonies and powerful visual narratives.

Using documentation of personal narrative as our core methodology, our collection of stories and storytelling initiatives have a powerful effect on viewers and listeners. They inspire empathy and solidarity. They also provide important material for historical and policy analysis, which may contribute to material change. Mission
Our mission is to develop narrative work that explores shared life, human experience, and the living planet. As a public-benefit organization, we prioritize thoughtful partnership, purposeful process, and ethical responsibility toward those whose lives, histories, and environments intersect with what we create. Working closely with creators and communities, we support narratives grounded in honesty and respect—stories that are attentive to their context, responsible in their impact, and true to the people and worlds they represent.
We launched this important mission with our cornerstone project, Afghan Voices of Hope, and look ahead to continuing to diversify and expand our body of work through creative collaborations.
